Online Security

LakesideFishingShop.com uses SSL protection for all Online Purchases.

When you submit your order, you will be utilizing a SSL (Secure Socket Layer).  All information is transmitted on a secure “layer”, shown by the letters “https” at the beginning of the Web site URL. This secure measure is also shown by the lock icon displayed by Internet Explorer and Netscape browsers at the bottom of the screen.

SSL is the industry standard encryption protocol.  The use of the SSL is the safest and most secure method of transferring confidential information on the Internet today.  SSL will scramble (encrypt) the information sent from your computer to the Web site’s server. When the site administrator retrieves your order, only they have the ability to de-scramble (decrypt) the credit card information.
